Daisie Cottage is situated near May Hill, on the outskirts of Newent, It is easily accessible by car, with parking directly outside for up to two cars.

A mile from Newent Town Centre, Daisie Cottage is near to a range of local shops, supermarkets, butchers, banks, hairdressers, Chinese and Indian take-aways, a fish and chip shop and a Post Office.  The International Birds of Prey Centre is situated within a few hundred yards of the cottage.
 

There are a range of country pubs and restaurants within a short drive and the nearest pub is approximately 1 mile away.  Newent town centre is reasonably served with buses and the nearest train stations are at Gloucester and Ledbury.
 

The pretty market town of Ledbury is approximately 15 minutes' drive away. There is a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a leisure centre with swimming pool, an art gallery and antique shops.  There is a car boot sale every Sunday afternoon at the Rugby club.
 

The city of Gloucester, with its beautiful Cathedral, historic docks and Gloucester Quays shopping centre, is within a 30 minute drive.  The beautiful Regency spa town of Cheltenham is only a little further away and is excellent for shopping.  Both are well-served by rail networks.
 

The Forest of Dean, with its numerous cycle trails and beautiful walks can also be accessed within a 30 minute drive.
 

The cities of Cardiff, Birmingham, Bristol and Oxford are all approximately an hour's drive away.
 

Daisie Cottage is approximately 3 miles from Junction 3 of the M50 and 10 miles from Junction 10 of the M5.
